Joseph J. Anheliger

July 10, 1934 – June 22, 2013

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph on Saturday, June 22, 2013 with family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents John and Rose, brothers-in-law Harvey and George and nephew Darrell. Joseph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Caroline. Daughters: Yvonne (Lonnie), Yvette (Daryl), Theresa (Aaron), Pamela (Jeff), and Danielle (Gilbert). Grandchildren: Mitchell, Scott, Chantal, Grant, Rae-Lee, Brittany, Justin, Brayden, Reagan and Trenton. Great-Grandchildren: Samantha, Ella, William and Sophia. He is also survived by his sisters: Marion and Bernie (Jeff), in-laws: Rudy, Matilda, Cathy, Richard and Bernadette as well as many nieces and nephews. Dad worked hard to provide for our family. He was a farmer who did many additional jobs over the years and was an active member of the community. He had a great love of music and was very proud to be a member of the Fork Handler’s band. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. There is not a park in Saskatchewan he hasn’t seen. Dad and mom enjoyed vacationing with friends in the States as well as BC. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility, Box 180, Imperial, SK S0G 2J0.
