It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Vincent "Don" Pelletier on May 2, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Don was born in Marieval, SK. Don proudly served his country as a member of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry and was most proud of the fact that he was a paratrooper. Don worked all his life mainly in the legal services field, first as a member of the Ontario Provincial Police stationed in Gull Bay, Ontario and later as a Native Court worker in Regina, SK., and finally, at Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. Don will be remembered for his love of golf and singing, recording his songs for family and friends to enjoy. Most especially Don will be remembered for his sense of humour, always ready to tell a joke or funny story and the love he had for his dogs, Daisy, Sandy, Casey and Jessie. Don is predeceased by his parents Madeline and Charles "Charlie"; sisters Olive, Rose, Bernice and brother Fred.
Left to mourn for Don are his loving wife of 30 years Muriel and step children Judy, Don (Deborah) and Gloria (Charlie); granddaughters Shaunna (Aaron), April (Ryan), grandson JR; great grandchildren Avery, Emma, Jack and Rider; previous wife Delores and her children, Frank, Bud, Chuck, Mike, Duane, Patricia, Ladonna and their daughters Suzzanne (Grant), Darlene (Larry), Lindy (Gordon); sons Rocky and Don (Diana) and their mother Eileen; Charlene; his brother Fred’s step-daughter; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
