She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Elizabeth and Steve; paternal grandparents Edith and Bill; brother-in-law Dieter; sister-in-law Colleen; as well as numerous other loved ones that she tenderly remembered and held in her heart.
Kathy was born in Regina, SK on January 15, 1959 to Lorraine and Manley Juhlin, whom she is survived by. Kathy is also lovingly remembered and missed by her children Jeanine and Curtis (April); granddaughters Keona and Autumn who meant the world to her; father of her children Eugene; sisters Karen (Rex) and Carol; brother Kelly (Susan); step-mother Maggie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews from both the Juhlin and Hamilton families, aunts, uncle, cousins, relatives from the Hamilton/Moran families; and her dear friends.
Kathy was fearlessly bold in being herself and always defended what she felt was right. She left no room for wondering “who” she was and what she believed in. She was a fiercely hard worker and one of her mantras was, “If you aren’t going to do something right, then don’t do it at all!” She would often forgo her own needs to share a meal or a place of comfort with those that mattered to her.
As such, Kathy’s legacy to her family and friends will be one of love, perseverance despite adversity, generosity and kindness, and a huge love of animals and music!
A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be announced and held at a later date.
