It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Keenan Jon Levi Desjarlais, Oskinikiw - Koosh-Ska (Young Man) on Friday, June 30th, 2017, in Regina, SK. Keenan is predeceased by grandparents, Lloyd Carrier, Gwendolyn Pratt, Bennet Pratt, Florence Joyea, Stanley Lonechild, Maggie and Jack Joyea, Phillip Desjarlais, and John Sheepskin. He is survived by his mother, Billie-Jo Pratt; step-dad, Trevor McNaughton; father, John Desjarlais; step-mom, Brandy BlueEyes, grandparents, Howard Pratt, Genevieve Carrier, Joyce and Martin Machiskinic, Chris and Angeline Sheepskin, Mary Jane and David Anderson, Angeline Desjarlais, Priscilla Sheepskin; the mother of his child, Dasilva; daughter, Dekaizsha; siblings, Tashiena (Trevor), Natiesha (Ethan), Tyrese, Tiersen, Desenna, Emmersyn, Emmett, Billy Jack, Novaleigh, Jalesa, Brianna, Mya, Seaira, John; nieces and nephews, Kashis, Karter, Nathena, Elysianne; and by all other family members and friends. Keenan grew up in Gordons and lived most of his life there. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends. A visitation will be held on July 5th from 12-3 pm at Lee Funeral Home. Wake and Traditional Funeral Service to follow at Gordon’s school gym Thursday, July 6th at 11 am.
