LaRaina Skylynn Rose Charette

LaRaina Skylynn Rose Charette was born to Mark Charette & Thomasine Hapa in Wolf Point, Montana.

She is survived by her mom, Thomasine Hapa; step-dad William Mantee; her brother, Brandon Charette; her sister, Marktiya Charette, who both reside in Canada; and aunty, Rosebud Benoanie.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gwendolyn Hapa and Garnet Roulette, Alfred and Missi Roberta Charette; her uncles, Adrian Hapa, Fabian Hapa; and her aunty, Charity Hapa Rogalski.

LaRaina was raised in Wolf Point, Montana.

At the age of 18, she moved to Regina with her mother, Thomasine and brother, Brandon.

She has one son, Greg Montclair Jr., with Gregory Montclair, whom she remained close with and loved very much until the day of her passing.

Laraina had a lot of friends and people who loved her. She was also very close to her cousins, Ryan Chaske, Kelijah Chaske (Taryn), Leo Natowayous, Kianna Hapa (Paul) Von Dzelion, Ethan and Lidel, Bella Dzelion, and Danayla Benoanie.

She also has 3 special friends, Brooklyn Adams whom she called her Best friend, Danton Bitternose and Lauren Dejarlaise.

Laraina will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

The Wake Service will start at 4:00pm on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, located at 2080 Victoria Ave E, Regina, SK. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at 11:00am, at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
