Our hearts are heavy in learning about Leanne's passing. She was an incredibly caring and compassionate team member at Rhoda's Elegance. Our customers enjoyed Leanne's optimism and she had the ability to make every customer feel beautiful. Leanne always had a smile on her face . She was our "Momma Leanne" and we will miss her greatly. Our deepest condolences to her family during this time of grieving.

Leanne and I were grade school buddies. I have fond memories of biking around the neighbourhood, buying slurpies, sleepovers, pinball, and dancing to GREASE music. Condolences to her family! 

Dear Leanne ... I am so sorry our illness took another GOoD person.   I admired your courage to keep trying to cage the gorilla of ours. 
 But just couldn't do it.  That is OK.  We will make sure your memory and message remain at Alano.  I totally agree with your friend's comment about lighting up the room.  Yes, you had the ability to turn heads.  You were gorgeous.  We will miss you.
To Ashley and Dallas ... I am so sorry for your loss.  I hope your hearts heal soon.  The illness that took your Mom is devastating and not very well understood.  I know, I have it too.  Hugs.

Dearest Ashley and Dallas, 
I feel like we were all one family when you, Michael, Daniel, and Lauren were children. Leanne was their second mother and I thought of her as a sister rather than a friend. We want you to know that we, the Lysack family, have been reminiscing and there has been much laughter through our tears. I hope that both of you also remember the great fun we all had together. Leanne had the most gentle soul, quick laughter, and that smile that could lift anyone’s day.  She was so incredibly proud of you two and loved you fiercely. She also made all of us feel loved and appreciated and I was so grateful that she cared for my kids too. 

We were remembering what a great baker she was.  Our kids were so excited to come home to tell me that you didn’t have to buy bread at the store! Leanne can bake it herself and it tastes better! She often came over to “borrow” chocolate chips, eggs, flour… and would repay it in the form of the best cookies ever! And the cinnamon buns! She loved and raised Mike, Dan, and Lauren like they were her own kids. The “kids of the bay” were more siblings than friends. It is never easy to understand when a disease takes someone we love. Looking at her beautiful picture, it’s still so hard to believe. But she gave the best of everything in her to you Ashley and Dallas, all the love and beauty she saw in the world, she shared with you.  She had the most wonderful sense of humour and was incredibly generous and kind.  Even as the disease took hold, her beautiful soul left a strong imprint on both of you. We all want you to know how much we loved and will miss Leanne. We always thought there would be more time to reconnect.  We are always here for you, to share stories, laughter, and memories of a better time with your beautiful mom. Sending all the love and hugs, Ashley and Dallas.

My sweet “Annie”, how I adored and loved you. We met the first day of grade 9 at Martin Collegiate in homeroom. We became fast friends and spent most of our weekends at each others homes; sleep overs, parties with way too much laughter. We drifted apart, as most people do but I always wanted that friendship to be rekindled. I knew of your struggles and I wanted to reach out to you. The problem is is that you always think you have time. May your struggles be no more as you are greeted by your father. You will be missed by many. To me you will always be the most beautiful girl in the room with a smile and looks that would knock any guy off their feet. My sweet girl, my heart is broken. 

My condolences to Leanne’s family. May you find peace in the memories you have made together. Please think of the good times you had and remember her with love in your heart.

As I sit back and reflect, we had so many good times and wonderful memories. There were so many that made me smile and laugh! But out of all those great times, there are a few things that that stood out..... Your caring demeanour, your infectious smile, and your laugh!!!! You are beautiful inside and out..... Hands Down!!!! You had so many “Amazing” things to offer!!! You are now at peace!!! We the Cameron’s will miss you so very much, and will continue to keep your memory alive! Until we meet again! We love you to Heaven and back!!! Always and forever!

Rest in peace my friend you have had a very tough journey. I remember how tough it was for you and the tears  and fears and the smiles  that you brought to the room when you walked in. I always wait for that fresh backing you came in with every morning and how proud you were when everyone ate it up. Thank you we at SUAS will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Leanne’s passing.  She was  such a lovely person. We became good friends when the family lived in Regina, she even baby sat one of my boys. After a few visits in Okotoks we lost touch. I know she was very proud of and loved her kids.  I wish I would have known she was back living in Regina.  A few years back she came out to Buena Vista to see us and I wasn’t home and missed her....  I miss her again ....   My hope for her is that she is in a good place now.  Our condolences to the family.

     I am so sorry to hear of Leanne’s passing. I got to know Leanne well over the last 6-7 years through AA.  She often spoke of her mom, aunt and her niece. We had many laughs and tears.
     I know Leanne struggled so much with trying to get sober and just could seem to get there.       She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I am glad that her struggle is over now.
