It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard Morin announce his passing on July 24, 2021 in Regina, SK at the age of 72 years. Leonard will be deeply missed by his wife Elizabeth; and children Tanis, Lisa, Kenneth, Laura Lee, Leonora, and Robert. He is also survived by his father, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.
Leonard will always be remembered for his big heart and how much he cared for others. He had the best stories to tell about his many travels and experiences. He had such a good sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh with his many jokes. Leonard was born in Meadow Lake, SK on October 17, 1948. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth in 1993 and they have been inseparable ever since. Elizabeth was everything to him and he couldn’t be a day without her. Leonard had a busy life travelling and working. He worked in the mines for 40 years, until he finally found what he was meant to do and that was horse racing. He was always so proud of horses and the many trophies he won for winning races. Leonard and his wife Elizabeth both loved it and spent everyday training, feeding, and racing horses together. He loved his family; especially his grandbabies, he enjoyed every moment he spent with them to the fullest. He would bug them over and over but that was just his way of showing how much he loved them. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Metis Nation, 2332 11th Avenue on August 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a gathering to follow.
