Leslie and baby Jayden Maple began their journey on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Regina, SK. At the age of 22. Leslie is predeceased by Joseph Maple, Florence Maple, Fred Maple, Yvonne Yuzicappi (nee Maple), Mary Maple, Emily Maple, Robert Maple, Maurice Maple, Unca John Yuzicappi, Kunshi Agnes Yuzicappi, Leslie Yuzicappi, Murray Yuzicappi, Irvin Yuzicappi in infancy, and Amber Redman. She is survived by her mother Crystal; grandmother Arlene (Lloyd); Lloyd Jr; siblings Carly and family, Chris, Clarissa, Reagan, Rihanna, Jonah, Jacob, Johanna, and special niece Sage Pelletier. Gwenda and family, Glendice and family, Pamela and family, Garnet and family, and Melanie and family. Leslie was born in Regina, SK. She was raised on Tatanka Najin, she attended Tatanka Najin School then attended Bert Fox Community High School. Leslie received her Dakota name “Wiceyena Oyate Wawokiya” Girl who Helps the People. She was a tree chopper for four years, a pipe girl for four years and she also danced for two years with the women. Leslie moved to Regina to be with her mother Crystal and her three younger siblings. She adored her brothers and especially her sister Johanna.
