Leteesha Jade Johnstone - Lerat

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and aunty on July 16, 2021.Leteesha Jade Johnstone-Lerat was born on September 30, 1998, in Regina, SK. Teesha is survived by her loving mother Orlena Lerat; stepfather Wade Hiscock; siblings Tyrell, Tayah, and Kyra Lerat; aunties and uncles; and her kokum Erma Crowe; her beautiful nieces, loving cousins and special friends. She is predeceased by her father Owen Johnstone; grandparents Mary Lerat and Joseph Papp. Teesha was a beautiful and rambunctious blooming flower and she liked to be called “Teesha”. She was greatly known for her courageous confidence, substantial intelligence and heart warming laughter. She was an accomplished artist with wonderful potential. Teesha was always so funny, and loved to make everyone around her laugh and smile. She was an amazing young woman and always wanted to go back to the mountains someday. Teesha accomplished her grade 12 at the Adult Campus and often spoke of becoming a radiologist and joining the navy. A wake will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at ICF 3131 Dewdney Avenue, with a service to follow on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Teesha will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
