Our thoughts and prayers to Lily's family. Our 2 boys were a part of her dance troupe years ago. I enjoyed our visits at her home with the boys and listening to her stories and encouraging words to the boys. She was such an amazing,welcoming, and loving person. Her spirit was so bright and when you left you always felt like a part of her family.  We will miss you Lilly...will cherish the dream catcher you made for us and know that you will be remembered and loved by all who were blessed to know you.

Lily was an inspiration to all she had met. I had enjoyed all of her stories. I will miss her and seeing her at the Grandmothers meetings.

I have known Lily for many years. I remember her teachings and the talks we had. Lily had made me a ribbon dress for my graduation. We had so much fun while she was making it. We shared laughs and shed tears. The day of my graduation I couldn't find my moccasins so she told me here wear these ones but you have to give them back to me..lol..I felt so proud to wear my ribbon dress  on my graduation day..I wanted to share this memory cause the day she started making my dress was the day I started listening to her teachings. I'm so sad to hear that she has gone on to the spirit world Lily will make a wonderful angel. May her gentle soul watch over her family at this time in need. My sincere condolences to the family at this time.

I lived next door to Lilly for a few years and was friends with her son Alan. She was such a nice lady. She always told me to call her mom and treated me like I was one of her kids.
I am so saddened to hear of her passing. My prayers go out to her family in this time of sadness.

The youth at Dales House and the Paul Dojack Youth Center looked forward to a weekly visit from Lilly to teach them about their culture, life skills and the importance of caring for others, respect for themselves and family and The Creater. During her 11 years at The PDYC she often celebrated Aboriginal Day and was often a special guest at the Center. It was rather evident the youth loved and respected Lilly. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her friend in Christ Marion Young

All my love Lilly. You saved me so much when I was younger. If it wasn't for your loving heart I would have had no one.  Your guidance helped mold me into the woman I am today putting my children first always and believing in myself. You taught me to sew, bead and dance. Lilly, you were the grandmother I never had and the mother figure I needed when my own mom wasn't there.  I will always cherish the memories of packing up the station wagon and going to the powwows with you. The powwow practices and going to the back room of your house and creating outfits, our trips to gales and fabric land and the scolding needed when I needed to hear it. Your lessons and love will always hold a special place in my heart. Lilly, I will always continue to look up to you as a mother, grandmother and a friend. You touched my life and the lives of my children. I hope you know how much love I have for you even though I never said it enough. My childhood had great memories because of the time I spent with you, you treated me like your own and I never had that before. You opened up your home and your heart to many. I am grateful I was one. I love you white bear woman.

Condolences to the Daniels Family.  I cannot express our gratitude to Kokum Lily for all her teachings and taking my daughter and grandchildren under her wing.
