Lindey was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, William and Ruby Sugar; paternal grandparents, Gladys Papequash and Edmund Brass. She is survived by her parents, Frances Sugar, Ervin Papequash and Jeff McDonald, her wife Mitchelle Lagimodiere; her son William Sugar; grandson Ethan Zane Morris; sisters Tanya Sugar (Trian), Kymowyn Sugar and Annika Peters (Will); brothers Tasunke Pejuta (Wusto), Jordan Sugar-McDonald, Lance Ironchild, Tewas Johnston and Russel Johnston; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
