Lois Bakewell

She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, in 2008, Gerald “Jerry” Bakewell; parents Charlie and Helen Powers; sister Sharron Powers; and sister-in-law Sharon Powers.

Lois is survived by her brother William “Bill” Powers; nieces Shauna Finn and Brooke Powers; great-grandniece Hunter Powers; great-grandnephew Boston Hickey; special friend and caregiver, Linda Laurin; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Lois had many enjoyments in life; she cared deeply for her family, friends and co-workers. She loved to bake, host and cook Christmas dinners, and spend time camping with her husband and nieces. One of her greatest interests and joys was curling, both playing and watching.

Lois will be missed by many.

A Come and Go Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK.

The family of Lois would like to thank the owner and staff at The Victorian Care Home in Regina for their compassionate care over the past years.
