It is with deep sadness we announce that Lynn Hagley passed away on November 23, 2014. Lynn will be forever missed by her husband Brian, daughters Connie (Brett, Breanne and Chase), and Rhonda (Justin, Nickki and great-grandson Hunter, Cody, Jayden, Colton and Tysen), son Rob (Alex and Raylene), her sisters, Carol (Bill - deceased) and Marilyn (Milt), and Brian's siblings; Gary (Joan), Dale (Carol), Jean (Bill), Jeanette (Don), Cheryl (Richard) and Kevin (Bonnie). Lynn was predeceased by her Mom and Dad (Grace and Vern Bickford), and Brian's Mom and Dad (Gertrude and Frank Hagley). Her greatest life changing loss was when her Granddaughter, Courtney McNaught, passed away on October 16, 2005. Lynn was born in Regina and attended school at Balfour Collegiate. On April 5, 1969, she and Brian were married and they spent 45 wonderful years together. Throughout those years, they had been each other's soul mates and best friends. Lynn worked for the RQHR for 25 years and developed many long lasting friendships. A symbol of their love is a note still on their refrigerator written by Lynn to Brian that says, "You are not perfect, but you are perfect for me." Lynn was definitely the love of Brian's life and he showed this through the countless hours he spent by her side, both day and night, as Lynn fought her extremely courageous battle with cancer. Over the last four months Lynn was determined to do it her way, which she did, until the very end. Lynn's memory will forever live on through those that loved her. She was not only a loving wife, mother and grandmother, but also a valued friend of those that knew her. If she called you "Pumpkin(s)," you knew you were special! If you did something for Lynn, you were sure to hear, "Thank you sweetheart." Lynn was known for her smile that could light up a room! The family extend their sincere appreciation to all of the care givers for the respect and kindness shown to Lynn and her family during her time spent on units 3E, 3D, Palliative Care and Grace Hospice. We would like to thank Dr. Kilmury, Dr. Johnson, Cliff Geiger and the entire nursing staff for their relentless efforts to keep Lynn comfortable. We send special thanks to Dr. Gordon Chin, who has shown such kindness to Lynn and Brian as their family physician and friend. We would also like to thank Dr. Prasad for all the support and friendship he has given Lynn and Brian for many years including this difficult time. We would like our friends and family to know we sincerely appreciate their support shown to our entire family. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those so wishing can make a donation, in Lynn's memory, to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital (4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina SK S4T 1A5) or Regina Grace Hospice (50 Angus Road, Regina SK, S4R 8P6).
