Margaret E.M. Nikolchuk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Nikolchuk on January 5, 2023 at 5:24 am in the Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. Margaret will be missed by her family and friends. She was blessed with a family that loves and will miss her deeply. Margaret had one daughter, Debra (Bruce) Thompson, with whom Margaret resided for the last year of her life; as well as one son Ken who has also passed on. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Emily and Arthur Gemmell; son Ken; sisters Doris, Irene, and Carol; and brother Ken. Margaret will be remembered by her daughter Debra; sisters Joy and Lynn; brother Keith; sister-in-law Mary; and brother-in-law Mike; three granddaughters, Tina Favel, Tania Aisaican, and Tushia Levesque; as well as eleven great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Margaret still has family in Regina. We would like to thank the people that have taken care of her.

A service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, Saskatchewan on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. After the Funeral Service there will be a luncheon, and then Margaret will be laid to rest in Findlater, Saskatchewan.
