The Creator called our relative home on December 13, 2011. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and relative. Marlin was a kind, helpful, giving man who donated his time and energy to his family and community by working at the Buffalo Crossing Convenience Store and other jobs within the community and in Alberta. He volunteered his time for the annual Sun Dance by keeping the sacred fire. He respected everyone and will be missed by all those that loved him. Marlin was predeceased by his father, Lloyd Isnana Sr, his brother Lloyd Isnana Jr, and 2 brothers in infancy. Also predeased by Grandparents William and Theresa Isnana, Alex Buffalo, Rose Buffalo, Catherine, and Gertrude Goodfeather, Lorna Hotain, Micheal, Wilfred, & Edward Goodfeather. Uncles Melvin Sr & Frank Sr Isnana and Guy Buffalo, Aunts Marcelline Hickman, Josephine Walker and Mae Isnana , Cousin Tyler Goodfeather and many other relatives to numerous to mention. His memory will live on by his mother Mary Theresa Isnana. Sisters, Paulette (John), Lisa, & Jocelyn and his sister-in-law, Lois. Nieces and Nephews, Stanford, Joelle, Allyssa, Tamara, Rhys(Randi), Chelsea, Sage, Naomi(Neil and Kia), Tristine, Eli, Zachary, Maddison, Lance, Larissa, Alvin Jr, Jeremy(Kelly) Crystal, Colin, Rae-Lyn and Carter. Aunts and Uncles: Lorne (Arletta), Freda (Carl), Maxine, Clifton (Laverne), Don (Linda), Betty, and Andy (Velma), Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mitchell and Dereck Mitchell and families. Special Grandmother’s from Sioux Valley, Rose Essie, Colleen Hall, and Doreen Johnson. Cousins, Hermalean (Alvin), Herman (Sandra), Hazel, Leroy, Phyllis, Jacqueline(Raymond Jr.), Sonia (Wendall), Terence (Janice), Tim (Shawnee), Melanie (Garnet), Greg(Tera), Colleen (Steven), Natalie (Brad), Marcel, Rodney (Tiffany), Lynette (Conrad), Troy, Mel Jr (Kristen), Marcia, Winnifred, Tessie, Nathan (Donna), Carlos, Jordan, Jonathan, Justin, Francine, Terrell, Wyatt, Frank Jr, Ashley, Jaylene, Kyle, Kory, Kevin, Lyle, Leanne (Anthony), Kim, Shannon, Dennis (Carla), Kenny (Connie), Walter (Jean), and Noonan. And many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. A traditional wake will be held at the Tatanka Najin School Gym commencing at 4:00 p.m. Friday December 16th with the funeral service to be held on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Herman Goodpipe and Elders officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of the Regina General Hospital, Lakeview Lodge Personal Care Home Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation, the All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle, the Valley Drug Mart and the Standing Buffalo Chief, Council, and community members for their support.
