Mary Czemeres

1922 ~ 2011

Mary Czemeres passed away peacefully (formerly of Dysart) at her residence Echo Lodge, Fort Qu’Appelle on Saturday, September 17, 2011 to be with the love of her life Stanley, at the age of 88 years. Mom is predeceased by her husband Stan, parents Phillip and Sophia Bula, and her brother John. She is survived by her children, Dwayne, Dale(Linda), Donna (Claude) Wickenheiser; her grandchildren, Mom’s pride and joy, Ryan (Nikki), Mike (Trisha), Shannon Czemeres, Riley (Rochelle) and Kayla Wickenheiser; her four great-grandchildren that she loved to see Tara, Mitchell, Karlee and Nate Czemeres; mom’s two sisters Kay Lawrek and Ann (Ernest) Klaus; brother-in-law Ben (Josie) Czemeres; sister-in-law Rita (Orville) Kyle along with her numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom “Mary Canary” was a great cook, gardener and housekeeper who made everyone always feel welcome. She enjoyed playing cards, curling, fishing trips, and being with all her family and friends, but most important Mom loved her “Bingo”. Mom we will miss you and love you forever. We the family would like to thank all the staff at Echo Lodge Nursing Home for all the great care they gave to both of our parents and special thank you to Kathy Dally, “Dolly” and also to Pat McNally who would bring treats to mom. Mom’s life will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Dysart, SK on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Kronsberg Cemetery. Mom loved children, in her memory you can make a memorial donation to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan #1 345 Third Avenue S., Saskatoon SK, S7K 1M6.
