Mary H. Ehman (nee Schnurr) passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard (Bernie) Ehman; her parents Anton and Theresa Schnurr; sisters Emma Niedermayer and Ann Matties; brothers Cecil, Joe, and Frank; brothers-in-law Fred Niedermayer, Fred Matties; and sisters in law Mary Schnurr and Therese Schnurr. She is survived by her nephew Michael (Terry) Matties; niece Jodi Wilton (Ron Pearce); grandnephews Kyler and Hayden Wilton; nephew Don (Paola) Niedermayer; and many other beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a very special step-daughter Bobbi (Ron) Yanko of Wilcox, SK., and numerous other cherished step-children; grand and great-grandchildren. Mary was born in Regina and attended school in the city. She was employed by the RCMP, Regina, for a number of years before moving to Pasadena, California for 1 1/2 years where she worked for Boller and Chivens. On her return to Regina she worked for the Regina Exhibition Association then was hired as Secretary Treasurer for the Saskatchewan Livestock Association, Regina, until her retirement. During her employment with Regina Exhibition, she served as Administrative Secretary for the first Canadian Western Agribition in 1971. After retirement, Bernie and Mary spent some time travelling and many summers were spent at the Knights of Columbus Park, Foam Lake, Sask. She also enjoyed volunteer work at the Regina General Hospital for a number of years. As a Roman Catholic, Mary’s religion was very important to her and she was a faithful attendee at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Regina. Father James Owolagba will conduct the service which will be held at Our Lady of Peace, 425 Broad Street North, Regina, SK on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.
