Mary Viola Bonsan Kish September 2, 1942 - September 4, 2020

Mary went to Heaven to be at God's side on September 4, 2020. Mary was born on a farm in Edam, Saskatchewan on September 2, 1942. Mary leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 59 years, Leslie Kish; her sister Ruth (Roger) Bec; brothers Danny (Ellie) Regnier, and George (Susanne) Regnier. She is survived by, and will be so missed, by her sons William 'Bill' and (Theresa), Matthew, Frederick (Sean), and Brent; and her only daughter Kathleen 'Kathy' and (Jim, deceased) Lascelle. Mary will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Larry, Albert, Brian, Dennis, Trevor, Michelle, Mercedes, Raymond, Cheryl, Veronica, and Sheila; well as many great grandchildren; nephews; and nieces, all which she loved dearly. Mary is predeceased by her father, Frederick Bonsan, her mother Linda Regnier, and step father Paul Regnier; brothers Robert (Bob) Bonsan, William (Bill) Bonsan, John Bonsan, Gordon Bonsan, and Alexander (Alex) Regnier.

Mary was a lifetime member of the Catholic Womans' League (CWL) and was a lay minister. Anyone who knew Mary, knew she was a very talented artist, who enjoyed painting in water colours. Many people will enjoy Mary's art for years to come. One of her proudest moments was to share one of her many Saskatchewan landscapes to a couple from Saskatchewan, currently residing in the United States, and has also donated her art to the General Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan for all to enjoy. Mary was also an avid chef and baker, and produced her cookbook entitled "Just Mary", with all the proceeds of the sale being donated to the Cuernavaca Project. Donations can be made in Mary's name or a cookbook may be purchased for $20.00, with all proceeds going to the Cuernavaca Project in care of the Archdioceses of Regina, Saskatchewan. The family would like to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to the staff at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre Unit 3-3, where Mary and Les have resided for the last 3 years.

Dear Laci,
On behalf of the Gedo family, especially Elizabeth, who died on May 30, deepest sympathies. Mom and Mary were very close friends. Both of you, Laci, were so very kind to Mom. Mary will always be an inspiration to us and be remembered as a tower of strength when we consider the health challenges that she faced so courageously. To all family and friends, we trust that the memory of the angel we knew as Mary Kish, will forever remain vivid and inspiring. God bless you all. With much love and gratitude. Alex and Helen

Cs-Nagy, Janos and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Leslie and families.
I personally had the pleasure of meeting Les and Mary through Janos. I was happy to have spent a little time with Mary while she still lived at home.
