Mary Lily Swindells Leach

December 8, 1931- November 7, 2015

It is with great sadness that Mary was called home to be at the lord’s side on November 7, 2015 at the age of 83. Mary is predeceased by her husband Melvin and oldest son Mark (Cindy). Mary is survived by her two sons Mitchell (Bonnie), Myles (Teresa). She is also survived by her grandchildren Neesha, Jesse, Brandon, Kayleen and great grandchildren Landon, Callie as well as other nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Regina, Sk. December 8, 1931. She was the only daughter of four children. Mary worked at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool when she was 18 years old. She worked there till she married in 1958. She then moved to Riceton, SK, where she raised her family. Mary started working at Pioneer Village Nursing Home in 1976 and retired in 1996. Following her retirement she moved to Coppersands and then to Regina Lutheran Home for her final residency. Mary enjoyed her retirement by playing crib, knitting, playing computer games, baking, singing and visiting with family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina SK. Saturday November 14, 2015 at 2PM. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
