Mervin Peter Bzdel of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the age of 80 on September 18, 2023 at the Regina Pasqua Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1943 in Sudbury, Ontario. He is survived by his son Darrell (Jessica Handley) Bzdel; daughter-in-law Leanne (Jim); grandchildren Janelle (Kelsey), Lesia (Josh), and Brad (Nika); great grandchildren Harlow and Ayden; sister Bernadette, and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held in Regina on Monday September 25, 2023, at 10:30 am, at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Those who are unable to attend in person can live-stream the service on St. Basil’s church Facebook page.
