Murray James Shepherd

Predeceased by his grandmother Maria Shepherd (nee Joyea, ‘Goo-Goo’); uncle Joe Shepherd; father Ross Mintuck; sister Eva Maria Shepherd; nephew Travis, and many more dear relatives.

Murray leaves his children Kashis, Aiden, Josiah, Kaleigha and Mathias; mother of his children Tristan Buffalo; mother-in-law Sylvia Buffalo; parents Vivian and Nick Helliwell; siblings Amanda, Randene, Faron, Shawn, Shylow; nephew Joshua; special aunts, uncles and all their children and grandchildren: Jerry Shepherd, Debbie Shepherd, Nadine Shepherd, Bernard (Lila) Shepherd, Lisa McArthur, Troy Shepherd, Bob (Gwen) Lydiate; special uncle Calvin McArthur, and special auntie Shannon; nieces and nephews: Kienan, Adrienne (son Malakai), Kristian, Alexah, Serenity, Jayden, Jordan, and Keesha (Elias, Takota, Ember). Close to his heart are Tyrone, Derek, Darrell, Clarke, Edward, Billy, and many more friends and adopted family. Special mention to his cousins Mason, Raine, Johnny and many others, too numerous to mention. Special acknowledge to Gen and Marsha for all their love and support.

Murray loved his children more than anything in this world. Often times he would go without so he could provide for them. Murray was a welder by trade and worked for CEDA until he suffered a disability. He was passionate about his beadwork and crafting which he started 16 years ago and perfected his craft. Murray was a gentle, compassionate man and will be remembered as such. We will forever hold him in our hearts.
