

Nicholas Antosh died on Sunday evening, March 8, 2015 at Regina Pioneer Village in Regina Saskatchewan. Nicholas Antosh was born in Blue Wing, Manitoba on March 14, 1927. Nicholas’s parents Dennis Antosh and Jessie Gorda emigrated from Romania in 1906 and 1909 respectively and were married in 1911. Growing up as one of the middle children of eleven during difficult times Nicholas learned the importance of family and saving for the future and he carried these values with him throughout his life. In 1954 Nicholas met June Smith and they were married in 1955 in The Pas, Manitoba. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba to attend Winnipeg Bible College. After completion of religious studies, they began pastoral work at the St. Vital Alliance Church in Winnipeg. In 1963 they moved to Regina where Nicholas lived until his death. Nicholas was predeceased by his wife Olive June Antosh (nee Smith), his father Dennis Antosh, his mother Jessie Antosh (nee Gorda), his daughter Darlene May Antosh and his brothers and sisters Mable Onofriechuk, Vera Wowchuk, Jim Antosh, Elsie Toderian, George Antosh, Victoria Yarmie, John Antosh, Sadie Tokar , Pearl Hachie, and Bill Antosh. Nicholas is survived by his son Gerald (Susan) Antosh, their children Teresa and Rebecca Antosh, his grandson Brendan Antosh and numerous nieces and nephews.
