Mrs. Paulina A Fink

Pauline Adeline(Selinger) Fink, beloved mother to Timothy (Barb) and Jim (Carla); grandmother to Mary (Travis) Samchinsky, Victoria Fink, Shelby (Garett) Yee, Haley (Allan) Yap, and Lucas Fink; Great grandmother to Elizabeth and Fiona Samchinsky, Aria and Hazel Yee, Nikolaj and Seigfried Yap.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband George (2006); and parents Leo and Katerina Selinger and Stepfather Pius Schaaf; sisters Philomena (Frank) Sali, and Isabelle (Pete) Zacher; brothers Jack (Cecilia), Alfred (Karey), Aloise (Elizabeth), and Roy (Carrina). Left to mourn her passing are sisters in law Margaret Meszaros and Faye (Richard) Barnes.

Mom was devoted to her family and we will never forget her fabulous meals. She loved her garden, always had an abundance of vegetables for family and neighbours. The Catholic Church was an important part of her life, Pauline and George spent many years singing in the choir. Mom was a record keeper, she kept diaries for more than forty years to document her daily activities.

For the past year mom’s home was at the Fillmore Health Centre. Special thanks for the kind and compassionate care given to mom by the staff and Burt the cat (who became a special companion). We would also like to thank Fillmore ambulance service for the kind care mom would receive on her many trips to Regina for appointments. Thanks to the medical staff at Regina General, Pasqua, Indian Head and Fort Qu’Appelle hospitals.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s church in Vibank on Friday June 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Reception and interment to follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Pauline’s name to Fillmore Health Centre, 100 Main Street, Fillmore, SK S0G 1N0 or a charity of your choice.
