We have been away this past week and have just read of your great loss .... Phyllis was a patient in our office for many years and we considered her a very lovely and bright person .... such a sad loss ... the family has our great sympathy.

Mrs. Brennan was a wonderful host-mom to me and my friend Julie during our ringette billeting years in Regina.  I remember her generousity quite fondly. Sending my condolences and positive thoughts to Casey, Marti and Kelly.  Hoping you are all doing well. Hopefully we can reconnect.

I am so saddened to hear of your moms passing. She was a wonderful person and a favourite patient on 3F to many! We rooted for her recovery and were in awe of her positive attitude. With all that was going on with her health, she would always ask how our day (the nurses) was going and would make us smile.

Brennan kids, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Her passing so quickly after mom is so surprising. I remember all the coffe that flowed through our kitchen. The instant coffee while they waited for the perked. The spite and malice card games with the room blue with smoke. They would keep laughing and playing. There was also the glass of baileys in the evening. I know they are together playing cards and having a grand time. My thoughts are with you and our moms during this time!

We only knew Phyllis for a short while but always enjoyed her company at Solace. May your memories comfort you.

Jymmi-Kaye, Terry, Michael, Marni, Johnell, Marti, Kelly and Casey and your children and  grandchildren you have won the gold medal for the best mom and grandmom and great-grandmom.  As a friend of your mom since public school days and keeping in touch over the years with visits, letters, phone calls and email, and especially when we celebraated our mutual December birthdays,I heard with love and pride how she welcomed each one into the world, about hockey, swimming and who won the latest game of spoons. As you say good-bye, may smiles soon replace tears as you recall the many happy times in the Brennan Home.  Thank you for sharing some of her time with  her many friends.
