With his wife by his side, Rick passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his father Raymond and brother-in-law Mike Ritsco; Rick is survived by his mother Catherine; beloved wife Bev (nee Beranek); children Michele (Tony), Carmyn (Alex), and Jerry (Andrea); grandchildren Aidan, Megan, Jenna, Dane, Aurora, Patrick, Julia, Kasia, and Dmitri. He is also survived by his sisters Elaine, Julie, Joan (Dean), and Lynette (Lyle); sister-in-law Barb (Jim) Coflin; brother-in-law Stan (Doreen) Beranek; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Rick was born September 11, 1945 on the family farm in Francis, SK. Farming was a huge part of his life. Rick spent his career with the Provincial and Federal government until his retirement in 2010. He also operated Knoll Financial Services. Most important to Rick was his family. He enjoyed music, curling and his Chicago Blackhawks.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
