Sharletlee Ann “Terry” Safioles was born on October 15, 1953, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to George Safioles and Clara Canada. She was the youngest of four children, with siblings Lorne, Connie, and Ron, all of whom have since passed.
Terry moved to Regina in 1969 and attended Balfour Collegiate. In 1971, she welcomed her son, Troy Baguley, and in 1976, her daughter, Stacie Canada.
She shared a 35‑year relationship with her best friend, Tony Schachtel.
Terry was blessed with three grandchildren—Dillon, Darian, and Shaeli Canada—and two great‑grandchildren, Adrienne and Rylee Canada. She was also an aunt to eight nephews and one niece: Wade and Garrett Fiechter (now deceased); Jade and Shawn Kennedy; Tammy Moison; Donovan Gagnon; and Daniel, Jason, and Kenneth Safioles.
A proud Protestant Christian, Terry will be remembered for her fashionable style, her fun and silly spirit, and her generosity. She loved to dance and had a gift for making people laugh. Her stories and her personality will continue to bring laughs for years to come.
