Sharon is predeceased by her grandmother Ida Trapp; mother and stepfather Delores and George Barton; father James Sullivan, sister Sandra Dundas and son, Mathew.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Raoul; daughter Kim (Noel) and her children Taylor and Joel and great-grandson Logan; son David and his son James; daughter Jana and her son Jack; son Myles and his daughters Addison and Emma-Lynn; siblings Jim (Suzanne) Sullivan and Ron Mickelson and many nephews and nieces.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family engaging in many activities. She loved heading to the beach in the summer, attending football games, backyard fires, and taking time to relax in the yard with her flowers. She enjoyed swimming all year round and was always ready for another season at the hockey rink. Movies (especially scary ones) and popcorn could make any night special. She took great pride being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Sharon loved all her fur babies, past and present: Sam, Toby, Yoda and Max. Her dogs were her best friends and they provided her great comfort especially as she became ill. She fed the birds and squirrels everyday and took great joy watching them from her chair. All the neighbours knew not to mess with her squirrels. She named them all.
At Sharon’s request, no service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for their exemplary care and compassion.
