Skyrah Elizabeth Tawiyaka

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Skyrah Elizabeth Tawiyaka, Glittering Glowing Sparkling Girl (Princess), at the age of 7 years. She was predeceased by her grandpa’s Cliff and Melvin; and auntie Natasha. She is survived by her mother Alma; father Jordan; biological father Kody; siblings Serenity, Savannah, Fraulein, Orion, Johnathan, Jordan, Rayanna, and Emily; special great- grandmother Barbara; grandma George and grandpa Vergil grandma Shield, aunties Andrea (Greg) Natashia (Jesse), Nicole (Dwayne) Darla (Alex), Harmony, Eliece, and Faith, Tiffany, Joy, Cheryl (Randy). Special cousins Denelle, Allie, Jayvian, Shayalee, Treyvonne, Kaldon, Janine, JJ, Shante, and Cora, Shayla, Nokimis, Kimowyn, Mariah, Shayla; and everyone who was graced with knowing her if there is anyone we forgot to mention know you were in her heart. Skyrah loved singing, school, playing, running, reading, arts and crafts, make-up, shopping, and being around her friends and family. She was always happy and laughing and she will be missed by everyone. Special thanks to the RCMP officers from White Butte and Fort Qu’Appelle, EMS from Regina, Balgonie, Fort Qu’Appelle, and McLean, the Balgonie Fire Department, and to the All Nations’ and General Hospitals for all of their support and help in our time of need. A huge thank you to chief Roberta and councilors on Standing Buffalo First Nation for everything they are doing for our family. A Traditional Wake will be held on Standing Buffalo First Nation at the school gym on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be also held at the Standing Buffalo First Nation school gym on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
