

Stefan “Steve” Sulea, cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024, in Regina, SK. Born on September 27, 1933, in Dysart, SK, Steve’s journey was one marked by love, dedication, and a zest for life that touched all who knew him.
Predeceased by his parents, Bert and Mary Sulea, his brother John, sister Elaine, brother-in-law Mike Fazakas, three infant sisters, and niece Wendy Stainback, Steve’s legacy continues through his beloved family and the lives he impacted.
Steve’s love story with his wife, Ethel, spanned 67 remarkable years, a testament to their enduring bond. He was a devoted father to his son Jack (Janice) Sulea, a proud grandfather to Steve (Ally) Sulea and Megan (Kyle) Dmytrash, and an adoring great-grandfather to Presley, Bodhi, Westlynn, and Brexley. His sister Cecilia (Bill) Powell, along with many nieces and nephews, will hold his memory dear.
A man of many talents, Steve was a skilled farmer, an enthusiastic pilot, a gifted mechanic, a passionate snowmobiler, and a Lion’s Club member. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through his ownership and operation of a Cockshutt and Oliver dealership and a Sno Jet dealership. Steve’s love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of camping and fishing, but above all, his heart belonged to his family.
A private family gathering will be held to honour Steve’s life and legacy.

Steve’s warmth, wisdom, and generosity will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.
