third and fourth daughter passed away when they were young. Their five children - Tung Hoang, Phuong Hoang, Diep Hoang, Kim Hoang, and An Hoang and nine grandkids are currently living in Regina, SK.
Van Thong came to Canada with his wife and two daughters (Kim & An) in 2003. He was diagnosed with lung cancer on December 1st, 2020. After 7 months of battling with cancer, he passed away surrounded by his loving family. Van Thong Hoang was a kind, loving, caring, generous, hard-working, funny, honest, creative and religious man. He will always be loved and missed.
