Zoltan Mihalyko

The family of Zoltan Mihalyko is sad to announce his passing on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Regina, SK at the age of 93 years. He was born in Csik Szereda, Hungary on September 6, 1928 to Domokos Mihalyko and Anna Kopacz. Predeceased by his father Domokos Mihalyko; mother Anna Kopacz; wife Caroline Jane Mihalyko; daughter Elizabeth Anne Marcinyshyn; great-granddaughter Tasia Jasmine Kallis. He leaves to mourn, daughter Sharon; son David; grandson Brian; granddaughters Tiffany Elsiha, Brittany Victoria, and Jennifer; grandson Kenton; great-grandsons Cody, Dayton; great-granddaughter Alexis; great-great-granddaughter Arriana, great-great-grandson Jackson, and son-in-law Mickey.

Zoltan was a member of The Hungarian Club, Eagles Club, Serbian Club, Regina Roughriders Club, Gladiolus Society, as well as many more. He enjoyed entertaining guests and friends with bowling, soccer, playing cards at the Hungarian Club, horse races, and watching any type of sports. Was very active in the Hungarian Club for Mosaic, Hungarian Dancers and plenty of other social events. He loved dancing, landscaping, and volunteer work with the Gladiolus Society and the Horticultural Society as well as being active in politics. What he enjoyed most of all though was spending time with family, watching his grandchildren in their many activities and traveling with his beloved wife Caroline Jane Mihalyko.

A farewell for Zoltan will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 6:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK.
