David "Dave" Eldon Beers

David "Dave" Eldon Beers, 63, of Exeter Township passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Reading Hospital - Tower Health. Born June 27, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA he was the only child to the late Eldon A. Beers and Wenda M. (Himes) Beers. Dave earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Shippensburg University, class of 1980. He was a lead service technician with RP Management, last working in December 2021. Dave loved to travel, especially to Riviera Maya, Mexico and to any destination that included beautiful sandy beaches. He enjoyed taking pictures during his travels and did not miss an opportunity to document alluring sunrises. Dave was also a devoted supporter of fútbol, especially Manchester United F.C. Dave was a hardworking, thoughtful, devoted man with a genuine heart. He had a sharp and witty sense of humor and always had a story to share. He was truly a loving husband and the best papa. Dave will be sorely missed by all blessed enough to have known him. David's spirit will be carried on by his beloved wife of 10 years, Megan Beers; 2 sons Michael Beers and Nicholas Beers and step daughter Stephanie Engleman. He also leaves behind grandson Adam Oravec and granddaughter Amelia Kostyun to cherish his memory. Family & friends will gather Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton, PA 19606, followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM.
