Sending my deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother.

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.

Dear Mom:
Today Dec 15 you are standing in front of Jesus your Lord and Savior and my heart is filled with joy for you. I remember when you received Jesus into your heart. We were sitting inside the Wesleyan Church and Paster Rogers was giving the alter call and you started to run up to the alter before you got there you turned around and held your hand out for me to come with you. I ran to meet you and as we kneeled down to pray with Pastor and you said the salvation prayer .Tears ran down our faces. We could not stop crying.Jesus was your Savior.Now on Dec. 15Th as I look back the joy of that day came rushing back and am greatful to our loving God you were there for the alter call and that we had a pastor who was true to his calling and lead you to the Lord.Praise His Holy Name.No more tears and no more sickness for you who suffered so much.I know after that you talked about all your family being saved.
We had good times when you moved in with me singing along with the Gather singers and waving our arms to heaven praising the Lord. You could not wait until I got the tape out so we could spend time with the Lord and we did that together for over 4 years everyday you would not let me miss a day to praise the Lord. How precious you are in his site.God loves you and I will always love you Thelma .See you in Heaven someday and we will together again sing together praising the Lord,Forever and ever and ever Amen

I am asking you the most important question of your life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?Just take God at his word and claim his salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, and no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it! 
Just pray: 
"Oh, God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when he died on the cross. I believe his shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive him as my Saviour. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of your merciful grace. Amen."

My sympathies go out to Mrs. Drobnick's family.
I was a neighbor to her family and schoolmate to her children. Many happy
memories of the "Mohnton" family.

I have many wonderful memories of my dear mother-in-law, too many to mention here, but I would like to share a few special ones.

While Nan was living with Thelma and me Nan was often heard quite loudly praising the lord and waving her arms back and forth, this stands alone as a special remembrance to me.

Often I would be working outside, shoveling snow or cutting grass when I would look up to see Nan standing at the window with a big smile on her face and waving to me. I will be looking up to see her, still.

When Thelma and I were on the road working we would often stay at her parents apartment. We would arrive quite late but Nan never failed to be there waiting for us with something to eat. Her food was GREAT!

I will always remember Nan and Pop sitting on their rockers on our front porch overlooking our pond and just saying nothing but enjoying the moment, treasured moments frozen in time.

As we all grow older and face our own destiny, may we stop occasionally and reflect on the good memories that are near and dear to our hearts, for surely the day will come when memories will be all that remain.
