They also owned and operated Schmeck's Villa, Jacksonwald; where Gloria was the head chef until 1982. Gloria and Donald then moved to Florida and owned and operated several auto franchises. The couple shared 28 years of marriage together before Donald's passing in 1990.

Gloria was one of the sweetest and kindest person I have known.
She always had something nice to say about you and your family........
.......always trying to get you to eat something.

I'm so glad she had a long and fulfilled life but she will be missed.

I send my love along with you to your place in heaven.

Gloria was a special friend. I knew her from childhood. She was a beautiful, generous, and great lady. There were so many special memories that I can't list them all. I had the honor of housesitting for Gloria and Donald in the late 1980's, taking care of Beauty and Frisky. My late mother, Vivian DeBlasse, was Gloria's best friend until her passing in 1995. She was a true sainte...

God Bless You, Mr Weber and all Gloria's family.

When I was just fourteen years old, my kind neighbor Gloria Schmeck took me under her wing and after getting me proper working papers, patiently trained me in bookkeeping and payroll for her wonderful restaurant along with other business interests of theirs. I was under their employ until I entered college and having this experience gave me a great start in management positions throughout my life. I will always be grateful to both Mrs. and Mr. Schmeck and will continue to remember their kindness and charity to me and to everyone in our neighborhood. Rest In Peace.
