Gregory G. Myers, Sr., 65, of Birdsboro, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, June 5, 2014 in the Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband of Alice M. “Susie” (Wagner) Myers. The couple was married for 46 years.
Born in Reading on December 4, 1948, he was a son of the late James W. Myers and Dorothy R. (Gross) Myers-Winter. He was a 1966 Reading High School graduate.
Greg was employed with LNP Engineering Plastics of Thorndale as a Production Supervisor before retiring in 2001. He was previously employed by Mack Trucks in Allentown and Firestone in Pottstown. He was a Street Rod enthusiast and belonged to the Skyline Cruisers. His current Street Rod was a ’39 Dodge panel truck. Susie and Greg were car enthusiasts, owning numerous Street Rods and Corvettes.
He was also a member of the Birdsboro Sportsmans Club, Monarch Fire Company and was a former Volunteer Fire Fighter for Birdsboro Union Fire Company.
In addition to his dear, Susie, Greg is survived by two children: Gregory G. Myers, Jr. and his wife, Beth A. of York and Tracy L. (Myers) Davidheiser and her husband, Mitchell T. of Exeter Twp. and five grandchildren: Lindsey, Adam, Alex, Mason and Eric.
Also surviving is a sister: Carolee Snyder and her husband, A. Thomas of Sinking Spring.
A Celebration of Life gathering and service will be in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton, PA 19606 on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 6pm.

The family is inviting friends to join them in sharing a meal and more happy memories at the Monarch Fire Company, 50 Pennsylvania Ave., Douglassville, PA 19518 following the service at 7:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania, 919 Walnut St. #700, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
