Harry George Thornburg 86, of Reading, passed away on Saturday December 29, 2018 in Fair Lane Gardens. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Betty C (Undheim) Thornburg on September 5, 2018. Harry was born in Reading on November 7, 1932 a son of the late Leroy Sr., and Emma (Henry) Thornburg. He served in the Navy serving during the Korean War and was employed by Penn Optical as a lens grinder and as a bartender at the Ivy League last working February 19, 2017.
Harry is survived by his 2 daughters: Kathy L (Thornburg) Auton and her husband Robert of Reading and Vicki L Thornburg and her husband Shane Feeney of Mt Penn, 3 grandchildren; Latisha Bernard Schuenemann and her husband Raymond of Reading, Chelsey Thornburg of Morgantown, Cole G Feeney of Mt Penn, and 3 great grandchildren; Ashton A Hartman, Riley B Schuenemann and Brycen L Thornburg.
Harry was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Ann Thornburg on November 20, 2018.
Memorial Services will be Friday January 4, 2019 at 7pm in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reifton.
