Jeanne Grace Archer

Jeanne G. Archer, 88, formerly of Reading passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Lutheran Home at Topton where she had been a resident.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael D. Archer on March 20, 2006.

Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Zimmerly) Styer.

She was employed as a supervisor at Surgical Specialties until retiring.

Jeanne loved animals and feeding the squirrels and birds. She also enjoyed jig saw puzzles and completing crossword puzzles and she enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane L., wife of George Lessig of Robeson Township and Lora L., wife of Jeffrey Culp of Lower Alsace Township. She was predeceased by siblings, William, Raymond, John, Paul, Stella, Katherine, Anna, Cora and Mary. Her remaining sibling, Ruth Janke passed away December 30, 2020.

A joint memorial service for Jeanne and her sister Ruth Janke will be held at Auman's, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading, Pa. 19606 on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Friends and family will be received from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Interment for Jean will be private.
