Mrs. June A. Franks

She was born April 30, 1928, in Norristown, the daughter of the late Herman Charles and Bessie (Wolfe) Knauer.

Mrs. Franks retired as a lunch aid at the Reading School District.

She is survived by her husband, William F. Franks of Reading; and two children, David W. Franks, and his companion, Sheila, of Wernersville, and Susan Wood, and her husband, James, of Fleetwood.

June is also survived by her four grandchildren: Amy M. Franks, Eric D. Franks, Candace A. Wood and Heather N. Wood. She is also survived by a sister, Sarah E. Czarnecki.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Steven F. Franks and Caren L. Franks; and three brothers: William, Charles and Nathaniel Knauer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the Auman Funeral Home, Reiffton, at 2 p.m. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Park.
