Norman Paul Boone

Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading on April 18, 1939, he was a son of the late Russell and Miriam (Kaucher) Boone.

Norman attended Reading Area public schools and was employed with Carpenter Technology as a grinder for over 30 years before retiring on February 1, 2000. He was a NASCAR racing fan and Jimmie Johnson was his favorite driver.

Surviving is his daughter, Barbara S. (Boone) Keller of Sinking Spring; a brother, Daniel H. Boone of Riverview Park; one nephew and one niece.

Also surviving is his ex-wife, Joan A. Tyl of Cumru Twp and sister-in-law, Sherry Boone of Riverview Park. Norman is predeceased by two brothers, Robert R. Boone and Jere L. Boone and one nephew.

Services for Norman are private and at the convenience of the family. Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606 is entrusted with the arrangements.
