Uncle Dick you will always be my Rock Star .
When I lived in New York , I would come home & go to church with mom . I would be the luckiest girl on Earth to be able to hear & see you sing . If you weren t in the choir or solo or sitting close to me ,
Let s not forget THE PTA shows . So much fun , wonderful talented people , who took their time to give us a wonderful show . The Best was when you sang with your son Rick , Rich Machmer, Bobbi Kershner , Elvira . !!!
You sang at my 16 th birthday party , my wedding .
I am so Proud of you . You were My Uncle . How could a girl get so lucky. I could hear that beautiful voice . God surely Blessed you , with an incredible voice to reach out to people .
You will surely be missed by All of us .
I Love you so much Uncle Dick .
I m sure God will make sure You are The Lead Tenor in His Choir of Angels . I will be listening for your voice .

I will always remember the times we were all together at Christmas at Uncle Ralph's and Aunt Elaine's house. To the Family sorry for your loss, just remember that Richard is watching over you all.

Each time I hear or play the song, "Through it All," I remember how beautifully and meaningfully Dick sang it both with the Calvary Heirs Quartet and as a solo. Dick had a beautiful voice, and when he sat nearby in church, whether I could see him or not, I knew he was there because I recognized that familiar voice as he sang during the congregational singing. Our longtime friend will be missed.

Jeannine, may God comfort and help you, the children, and grandchildren in the days ahead as you cope with your loss of husband, father, and grandfather.

With our deepest sympathy, Bill and Laura Kilpatrick

It is with deep sadness and profound sympathy that we read of Richard’s passing. The years have flown by, but fond memories remain. Motherly Kim pushing our two in in the stroller along Cherry Lane, playing in the sandbox together. Your taking our two to Summer Bible School. I still have the pail that Eric made! The two of us picking apples at Ontelounee Orchards, and of course you saving the day by suggesting that you drive Eric to kindergarten, thereby reducing the separation anxiety that he experienced. Thank you.
We are so deeply sorry and wish you well.
Peace, Grete, Stan, Eric, Kevin
