Richard E. Schulze Sr.

Richard was the son of the late William F. and Florence (Stern) Schulze.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria (Kane) Schulze in 2001 and a brother, Jacque.

Richard was a 1941 Reading Sr. High School Graduate and attended Albright College. He was a member of the Naval Air Corps during World War II in the infamous Black Cat Squadron. He earned numerous medals. Richard retired from Bethlehem Steel in the Engineering Department.

Richard leaves behind 4 sons: Richard E. Schulze Jr. of Stonersville; Randy J. Schulze, husband of Kim of Exeter; Rodney Schulze of Stonersville; and Terry Schulze, husband of Christina of Texas. A daughter, Bambi Crater, wife of John of Morgantown. Also 2 sisters, Doreen Goodheart of Stonersville and Joan Care of Shoemakersville. He had 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
