Sandra Lee (Arthur) Stamm, 67, of Mohrsville, passed away in her home on Sunday, March 22, 2015. She was the loving wife of Carl R. Stamm. The couple had shared 32 years of marriage. Born in West Reading on February 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Morgan Barlow and Rozina (Bufono) Arthur.
She was a 1966 West Reading High School graduate. Later, she attended Bryland Beauty Academy. Sandra was employed with the former AT&T, which later became Lucent Technologies, for 20 years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed crafts and embroidery. She loved kids and it made her happy to spend time with them. Sandra was a member of the Quilting Guild and the Bernville Grange.
Surviving is her husband, Carl Stamm of Mohrsville; a son, Robbie Silcox and his wife, Kim, of Mt. Penn; a daughter, Beckie Caldwell and her husband, Tim, of Woodruff, SC; two step-daughters, Kim Pilat of Leesport and Karin Stamm of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren: Ian, Joey, Bryanna, Jacob and Jaden; and two great-grandchildren, Mariah and Izyck. Also surviving is a brother, Morgan Arthur, and his wife, Terri, and the many children in Bernville that called her Nana.
Prayers for Sandra will be said on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. in Auman's Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 7 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning in the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayer service.
