William Glenn Guistwite, 93, passed away April 6, 2015 in Berks Heim. His wife, Joan (Boyer) Guistwite, passed away on November 19, 2010. He was born in Lebanon on April 23, 1921, a son of the late Albert and Leah (Faustnaught) Guistwite.
William was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, a member of Alsace Luthern Church and was employed by Camp Hosiery in Reading as a hosiery mechanic for 40 years, retiring there.
He is survived by his children, Donna L. and her husband, Sam Stricker of Muhlenberg; Bret L. and his wife, Linda Guistwite of Fleetwood; Dawn A. Gaffney of Muhlenberg and her fiancée, Francis Kelly; Darlene D. and her husband, Jack Nutter of Elsie, MI; and Bruce D. Guistwite of Albuquerque, NM. There are 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Everyone may gather at the entrance of the cemetery for the service. Auman's Inc. Funeral Home is entrusted with his service. www.aumansinc.com
