Adelina was born in Crowley, Colorado in 1939, to Natividad & Eladia Castillo;
The family moved to Wapato, WA in ~1949, and she graduated as Valedictorian of Wapato High Class of 1957.
Adelina attended Kinman Business University in Spokane, WA following High School, and upon graduation ~1 year later, she worked for the City of Spokane Parks & Recreation Department as a Secretary for nearly 5 years.
Adelina married Julian Soto on Nov. 30, 1963 in Wapato, WA, and moved to Seattle with her husband in 1964, and then to Renton in ~1970 where she lived until the time of her passing.
Among her many interests, Adelina was an avid reader and a music enthusiast who loved to dance. She enjoyed a variety of artistic endeavors.
She is survived by her husband Julian and their only son Mark of Renton, WA; Niece Jean-Ann Dembrowski of Hudson, WI; Nephew Randy Thompson of Sioux Falls, SD; Great-Nieces Ashley Franco of Federal Way, WA, Jory Lund of Burien, WA, Jada Rae Sheetz of Hudson, WI; Great-Nephews Justin Thompson of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jesse Thompson of AZ, as well as multiple great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Ernestine Ziebarth.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Renton at 12pm on Thursday, Oct. 22, with a Recitation of the Rosary immediately preceding the Funeral Mass at 11am.
Calling hours will be held at Greenwood Memorial Funeral Home from 3-7pm on Wednesday, Oct 21 in Renton.
