Allen and I worked together at Boeing and kept in touch after my retirement in 2004.  We shared Christmas cards for years and after my husband died, he was so sweet and helpful getting me through my grief.  The card I sent last year was just returned and after a search found that Allen had passed away. I send my condolences to his family.  He was a wonderful man and friend.

Allen was my boss at Boeing, my respected mentor, and my FRIEND!  His many words of wisdom will always remain a part of me.  It was my privilege to have known and loved him.  My heartfelt sympathies to his family and loved ones.  rest in peace, my friend.  Judy Derbes

Miss you Uncle Allen...enjoyed our time on Bainbridge and so happy when we all had Thanksgiving at our home.

Cousin Allen and I were great friends when we were young, and he graciously put up with me when we were teens.  I remember all those times, but the ones we've had in the last few years have been so amazing.  Too bad I've had to miss some of the best because of nagging health problems, but he was the best!  I'll miss seeing him forever after, even if the visiting times were so far apart.
