Andrea "Andi" Conn Lanxon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 13, 2024, in Kent, WA, at the age of 77 with her husband, daughter and 3 cats by her side. She was born on December 27, 1946, in Bellingham, WA, to Nadine Frater Conn and Merton Conn.
Andi will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her husband, Michael; daughter, Alexandrea Conn (Les); step-son, Jeffrey Lanxon (Julie); grandchildren, Riley (Gabby) and Julianna; sister, Allison Endicott, and a host of friends she considered family.
Andi was a graduate of Elgin High School and furthered her education at Eastern Oregon College and the Bernley School of Art & Design in Seattle. She dedicated her career to bartending, notably at Cascade Lanes and the Riverside Inn.
Over the years Andi enjoyed various hobbies ranging from arts & crafts, volunteering as a 4-H Cat judge, and community work through the Kent Lions Club. In her earlier years, she was happiest riding horses, participating in Rainbow Girls and dancing to the latest Beatles album. In later years, she enjoyed attending the ballet with her daughter and heading out for an evening at the casino with her husband.
Andi was a force to be reckoned with. She always told people exactly what she thought. She never shied away from the difficult decision or an adventure. She would listen to friends and strangers alike tell their stories; always there to lend a hand, provide a hug and a much needed laugh.
Andi's warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be forever cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Andi's memory can be made to South County Cats or Lions Clubs International. However, Andi loved flowers, so consider buying some to place somewhere special and take a moment to remember her.
