He was born Rankin, PA, November 30, 1928, Parents, John and Katherine Salo.
He was married to Joan E. Granny August 15, 1949.
He was survived by seven Children,

He also is survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements will be held 11:00 AM, December 30, 2011 at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
