December 17, 1943 – December 18, 2018
Anitya, a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, peacefully passed away on December 18, 2018. After suffering several strokes, she was diagnosed with cerebral amyloid angiopathy. This disease have no treatment. It caused her brain bleeds which caused her strokes. She passed away in her sleep peacefully.
A philanthropist, traveler, and Buddhist, Anitya’s best moments in life were of her travels after her retirement from the business world. She loved the friends she’s made in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam and had planned on traveling again but for the strokes.
Anitya was dearly loved, and greatly missed. In lieu of memorial contributions, our family hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in need in her name.

So cô Tám An was gone! We could never find such a person as good and kind as Anitya again !
I feel so sad that I couldn't even write a word until now. In her lifetime, if she' d done the best things for relatives/ friends, she was happy! She spent for expensive things like famous brand names for people she loved without hesitations ! I never forget her compassion action in all, even considered a Yves Saint Laurent clothes set for a two years old boy for his uncle's wedding.
Dear Thục & Tâm and families, this is a very difficult time for both of you, even myself, I am crying while writing this.
Our prayers are with you and the whole family.
