Born in Dodge City, Kansas on October 6th, 1997 to Thanh Nguyen and Hang Le, he was the second of 3 siblings. He was raised for the majority of his life in Kent, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He spent his short time after graduation working at Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention as a Behavior Technician for over a year, where he helped children struggling with autism. Most recently, Anthony was a Campus Recruiter for Northwest Mutual, where he helped recruit college students to begin their careers in finance.
Anthony was a kind soul, who absolutely loved to help all those around him. He knew right away, as a teen, that he was someone who wanted to help and surround himself with people like him, leading him to join Key Club. As a member of Key Club, Anthony volunteered for countless events, like helping at food banks and fundraisers for great causes. He also served as an officer and played a mentor role for many peers. In college, Anthony decided to join two fraternities, Alpha Kappa Psi and Lambda Phi Epsilon, and immediately made an impact in multiple members' lives, as a brother, confidant, and friend. As someone who was so kind, he directed his career path in helping people, first kids dealing with autism and then college students looking to build their careers and resumes.
Anthony was also a free spirit and loved to do many exciting things. He loved track and field, tennis, snowboarding, and Judo. He had done Judo for nearly 10 years and attained a second-degree black belt and was a well-respected member of the community.
They say, your story is the greatest legacy you will leave your friends. Anthony’s story and the impact he had on our lives will forever be treasured as one of his greatest gifts.
Anthony is survived by his father Thanh Nguyen, mother Hang Le, brother Denny Nguyen, and sister Kristy Nguyen.
A memorial service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056, on April 21st and visitation will begin at 10:00 am and last until 2:00 pm. This will be followed by a graveside burial service at the same location.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts and remember the kind, adventurous soul you were. We all love you so much, Anthony.
