ANTONIO M. YORK

Antonio M. York (Tony) was born July 20th, 1934 to Antonio York and Blanche E. York. Tony parents were from Helena Montana and later moved to Seattle WA. Tony was born and raised in Tacoma WA. He was the youngest of two boys, he grew up with his brother Karl. They both attended catholic school and later enlisted in the air force. Tony was enlisted in the air force in October 1951 and served in the Korean war. He was honorably discharged in 1954, then worked at many other jobs after and later found his home with Metro where he retired after working there for 25 plus years. Tony took pride in his lawn and had to make sure he had the best lawn on the block. He loved to cook, travel and go to the casino in his spare time. He also loved watching football but was a Seahawks fan. He liked to pass on his life experience to the younger generation. He enjoyed playing pool with his kids and loved bowling with his grandkids.

He leaves to morn, his wife Lena S. York and his 10 children: two preceded him in death, Richard Donaldson, Deborah York; Antonia Wood, Antonio Wood, Vernetta York Williams, Karl York, Kelly Lee Carroll, Saroun Song, Thaney Song, Katoya Grant, a host of grandchildren- Cynthia Donaldson, Damion York, Michelle Donaldson-Yee, Ricky Donaldson, Viviana Williams, Imaiya York and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family & friends.
